Client Successes: Some years ago I used a very 'out of the box' strategy to reduce customer churn which involved an outrageous promise of giving people all their money back if they kept an insurance product for more than 12 years (the norm was 5 - 6 years) without making a claim. The company was later sold for a far higher valuation, mainly bought about by the loyalty of the policyholders. The money-back guarantee was later paid in many instances but this was offset by the investment value of the premiums, the lower claims ratio, client retention and an indemnity policy against loss on the plan itself!
